Background on online Lingap requests ↗
A 2021 city announcement. Confirm today’s application route before sharing documents.
Start with the city’s Lingap information
Davao City’s medical-assistance page directs readers to the Lingap Para sa Mahirap program. It describes support for Dabawenyos, especially people from low-income families and Indigenous communities.
Ask the program directly which requests it currently handles, who can apply and which documents it needs. A city program may have residence and assessment requirements. Being treated at a hospital in Davao City does not by itself confirm eligibility.
Check the current online application route
The city announced an online route for Lingap requests on 24 November 2021. That article is useful background, but it is not proof that the same account, upload steps or contact details are still used today.
Start from the current city service page and confirm where to send an application. Avoid handing medical records to an account simply because it uses the word Lingap. If someone is helping you apply, agree on what information they may share.
Before asking for help with a bill
Speak with the hospital’s billing or medical social service office about your situation. Ask whether you need a final bill, a cost estimate or another document for the assistance request. Check whether the application can be made before discharge and how the hospital receives any approved support.
These are questions to ask, not a promise of payment. The city decides applications under its own rules. Keep copies of what you submit and record the office that received them.
Use the right place for a medicine question
Our Cytotec, misoprostol and mifepristone pages explain medicine names and link to their sources. A financial-assistance listing cannot tell you whether a medicine is suitable, genuine or available locally.
We do not process Lingap requests, sell medicines or book clinical appointments. You can ask our team to explain something on the website. For personal care or worrying symptoms, contact a healthcare professional rather than waiting for a website reply.
